Artfully broken

From Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans, LA:


I'm not even sure how functional this one can be, but it's definitely very lovely and attention-grabbing, a mausoleum made to look like a gothic cathedral fallen into disrepair (me being a WW2 "fan," I tend to think "bombed-out"). Another view from the front:

  1. My grandparents are buried there. its not "bombed out". My family is Scottish, descended from recusant Catholics. The mauseleum is a tribute to Catholics from Edinburgh persecuted after the protestant devils destroyed parish churches and took over the country
